St. Patrick’s Day in Bestensee

Am 17. März feierte unsere 6. Klasse des St. Patrick’s Day. Im Englischunterricht hatten sie sich zuvor mit der Thematik auseinandergesetzt. Am Feiertag selbst fand dann ein Projekttag statt. Unsere Schülerin Majka berichtet:

St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday in many countries. People wear green clothes and funny hats and costumes. They spend time together with friends and family. On 17th of March Class 6b celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in the music room. We invited three younger classes. We showed presentations and films about St. Patrick’s Day and Ireland, we offered games like bingo and a riddle and we had a crafting station. The pupils enjoyed green cake and candies. It was a fun project.
